In the spring of 2022, I exhibited my artwork in Saint Mary's Cathedral, a 12th-century cathedral in the medieval section of Limerick, Ireland. Responding to each chapel as a thematic theater space, I placed pieces from my repertoire of sculptures to resonate with their symbolic significance, such as “Daphne’s Choice” in the Leper's Squint, “Pilgrims’ Progress” in Arthur’s Quay, "His Master's Voice" in Lord Glenworth Chapel, and "Lamentation" in O'Brien Chapel. However, when it came to installing work in the cathedral's main area of worship, I sought to add a performance piece to draw attention to the immensity and quietude of this space. To my good fortune, Limerick is home to the Hands in Harmony Deaf Choir, who were good-natured enough to stage a concert in Irish Sign Language with me called “Silent Sounds” at the closing of my exhibition.

Below are stills and links to open related pages that provide a view of the cathedral's interior, my installations and excerpts from the choir's performance:  St. Mary's Cathedral His Master's VoiceR E A D ;
