I Love You

American Sign Language (ASL) is a visual language created by the Deaf Community to communicate using handshapes, body motions, and facial expressions. The images on this page relate to the buildboard and ASL chart displayed at La Plaza Cultural, located at the corner of Avenue C and E 9th Street, NYC, read left to right. The first three fingerspell the letters I, L, and Y, while the last one merges these three letters into the hand sign for "I Love You."
