In 2022, I finished my residency with TRIANGLE on Governors Island in New York. I utilized an abandoned officer's house and converted its closets, hallways, and rooms into theatrical settings, forming my Physical Education exhibit. I turned each location into dramatic backdrops, expanding the idea of a readymade to incorporate these spaces. Each display had a focal point using new or older works re-cast to convey new narratives.
Like the sky, the atmosphere within these spaces changed throughout the day, becoming more blue as the sun set and making the specially installed lights more pronounced.
